Important Information


To Our Cardholders

This is important information about your Diamond Resorts Visa® Prepaid Card.

We will be changing the issuing bank of the Prepaid Card from Customers Bank to The Bancorp Bank, Member FDIC. Accordingly, the Cardholder Agreement will be changing on October 26, 2017. On and after October 26, 2017, the Cardholder Agreement will apply to the Prepaid Card and The Bancorp Bank will be the issuer of the Prepaid Card. Please read this notice carefully.

The new Cardholder Agreement will include several changes from the current Cardholder Agreement. We summarized the most notable changes below:
  1. "Cash Access”: You will no longer have the option to withdrawal cash at a participating bank location (“Over the Counter Withdrawal”’).
  2. FDIC Insurance: The Prepaid Card funds will no longer be eligible for FDIC deposit insurance.
  3. “Program Fee Schedule”:
      The following Fees have been added:
    • “ATM Decline Fee (International)” of $0.75 which will be charged per declined international ATM transaction.
    • “Foreign Exchange Fee” of 2.5%. This fee will be charged based on the converted dollar amount of any purchase made outside the fifty (50) state of the United States and the District of Columbia.
      The following Fees have been removed:
    • “Non ATM Cash W/D” of $10.00 which was charged per Over the Counter Withdrawal.
    • “PIN Change Request” of $1.95 which was charged per PIN change request.
      The following Fee has been updated:
    • “Balance Inquiry”. Balance Inquiries made by telephone through the automated service are now fee free. Balance inquires made through an ATM will still be assessed a $0.75 “ATM Balance Inquiry Fee”.
  4. Information About Your Right To Dispute Errors: We will no longer be providing provisional credit to the Card if we are not able to resolve your dispute within ten days of receiving your notice of the potential error.
  5. Arbitration: We have added an arbitration section that will require you to resolve any claim regarding the Card by binding arbitration. This means you will not have the right to litigate a claim in court.
Keep this notice with your copy of the current Agreement. If you reject these changes and wish to close the Card, please call Customer Service at the number printed on the back of the Card prior to October 26, 2017, and a balance refund will be sent to you at no charge.
